Hi I’m Joy.  I grew up in a small town in Canada.  My parents road tripped extensively including 6 months in Chiapas province of Mexico when I was 5.

So I naturally acquired a love of travelling, seeing new vistas, valuing different cultures and meeting new people.  And I do not fit the mold.

I live in Canada;  right now my home base is Alberta but I hail from New Brunswick and also keep a cottage/cabin in Labrador.  Any day spent fishing is a good day. 

My kids are of the four footed variety, and we are passionate about chemical-free food. I'm a pilot, a watercolor artist and now an entrepreneur.

I started my career as a Geologist, retooled as an Educator which took me into Teaching, Guidance Counselling and Educational Psychology.  My career has always been non-linear and was my vehicle for travel: living and working in different countries introduced me to many cultures and ways of life.

My own drive has always been new learning, making a difference in the lives of others and building my own destiny.

Over the last 5 years or so I had realized that I was over being just an employee. Career success and good remuneration just weren’t enough. I was still looking to GROW and expand my horizons. I loved my work but the only opportunities for advancement would take me away from the work I loved.
